Lawful bases and data protection rights
Under UK data protection law, we must have a "lawful basis" for collecting and using your personal information. You can find out more about lawful bases on the ICO's website.
Your data protection rights are:

Our lawful bases
Providing our services and products: consent, and contract (so we can deliver what you've bought).
Running customer accounts: contract, and legitimate interests. Our legitimate interests are to keep customer accounts secure, prevent unauthorised access, and make sure customers can reliably log in and access the courses and products they have purchased.
Service updates and marketing: consent, and legitimate interests. Our legitimate interests are to send customers important updates about products and services they have purchased, and, where permitted by law, occasional information about similar products they may be interested in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Legal requirements: legal obligation.
Queries, complaints or claims: contract, legal obligation, and legitimate interests. Our legitimate interests are to respond to questions and resolve complaints or claims fairly and promptly, and to keep a record of how they were handled.
Understanding how our website is used: consent (for analytics cookies), and legitimate interests. Our legitimate interests are to understand, in a basic way, how our website is used, such as which pages are visited most, so we can keep it working well and improve our content.
For more information about our legitimate interests, email [email protected].
